About Sugar Buzz Cakes & Wedding Cake Tastings We offer complimentary cakes and filling samples of your choice. You are welcome to pick up your samples with only a few days notice in most cases.
Once you have reviewed our photos, enjoyed our cake samples and have a few design ideas in mind, we can schedule your private consultation. During that time we discuss details of the wedding theme, colors & design options for your dessert as well as choosing flavors and fillings for each tier of your wedding cake.
The information for the wedding cake contract and a deposit of $100.00 is collected during the consultation. Two contracts are mailed to you for final approval and bride & groom signatures. One contract is to be returned to us promptly with any updates and both signatures.
You have up to one month prior to delivery to make any changes to flavors, guest count or to slightly modify your design (time permitting) Your final payment is due two weeks prior to delivery.

Flavors and Fillings Each tier of your wedding cakes can be made of different flavors and fillings of your choice at no additional cost. You can find a listing of our most requested flavors on our
Flavors and Fillings page. Any combination is acceptable, just keep in mind you will be serving a variety of guests and it may be a good idea to offer a simple flavor combination for at least one tier.

Pricing Sugar Buzz wedding cakes start a $5.75 per serving, which usually covers most designs. Delivery and set up fees are based on mileage from our shop. The cost is $45.00 plus $1.50 per mile, one way. Cake cutting & serving is not included in your order. A large majority of our cakes are made with a disposable internal support system and disposable cake boards for your convenience. This means no extra deposits or items to keep track of and return.

Reservations and Payments To reserve a wedding cake, a $100.00 deposit is required. A formal contract is written and mailed to you. We ask you promptly return one contract with any updates along with Bride and groom signature. The contract is required even if you are not mailing your final payment at that time. You have up to one month prior to delivery to make any changes to flavors, guest count or to slightly modify your design (time permitting).
Your final payment is due two weeks prior to delivery. Sugar Buzz Cakes accepts payments through our website using PayPal and most major credit cards. If paying by check, payments must be received at our shop no later than two weeks prior, out of state check must be received one month prior.

In the event that your wedding date is changed or cancelled, your payments will remain valid for one year after the original deposit date and can be used towards another cake order. We require a one month notice to change the date or cancel your wedding cake order. Without proper notification, your payments will be forfeited.
